Background and Homeworld

Characters earn Background skills based on the Homeward they choose and their base EDU score (unmodified by pre-Career or Career development). Characters will be able to choose a number of skills from the skill list associated with their Homeworld type based on the following table;

After choosing background skills, a character is at an adult age (18 for Humans) and ready for the next stage in character generation.

Federation Primary System

You were raised on a fully-populated technological world that is an intrinsic part of Federation culture and politics. Earth, Rigel, Tellar Prime, Vulcan, Andoria are but a few systems considered as Primaries in the Federation. Because you were raised on one of these worlds you were blessed with most (if not all) of the opportunities that Federation society can offer.

Federation Colony System

You were raised on one of the hundreds of colony systems found throughout the Federation. Cygnia Minor, Midos V, New Paris Colonies, Vulcan Monestary Planet are just a few of the worlds listed as Federation Colonies. These worlds have both the support and the full time protection of the Federation and Star Fleet.

Federation Frontier
